On 22 September 2025, Bulgaria celebrated the inauguration of Sri Chinmoy’s statue. To mark this meaningful occasion, Baridhi (harmonium), Yasen (kaval), and Giriraja (surbahar) performed a deeply meditative and heartfelt interpretation of Sri Chinmoy’s music. Their performance paid tribute to the Master’s life of peace, service, and inner light.
A Tribute in Sound and Heart
Baridhi’s Group expressed Sri Chinmoy’s teaching that “music is the universal language of the heart.” Each note invited stillness, and each pause encouraged reflection. Moreover, the harmonium’s rich resonance, the kaval’s airy voice, and the surbahar’s deep tones blended to create a musical tapestry that honored the Master. Consequently, the audience experienced both serenity and inspiration.
Significance of the Event
The statue’s unveiling signifies more than a local landmark; it demonstrates Sri Chinmoy’s worldwide vision of oneness, peace, and self-transcendence. Furthermore, Baridhi’s Group elevated the event, turning it from a ceremony into a living expression of spiritual aspiration.
