Lyrics:

1. Age Nahi Bale

Age nahi bale
Jadi ghare ele
Ogo priyatama
Kichhui bhebona
Tumi je amar
Jeona bhule

Translation:

If You have entered into my heart’s room
Without informing me,
O my Beloved Supreme,
Do not feel uncomfortable.
Do not forget You are my Eternity’s All.

– Sri Chinmoy, ‘Journey’s Goal, Part 9a’ songbook

2. Aghat Hani Bare Bare

Aghat hani bare bare tader komal prane
Tabu ase dake amai bhalobasar gane
Jatai tader dure theli tatai apan hoy
He bidhata amar majhe tader hauk joy

Translation:

I hurt them mercilessly;
Their soft and delicate hearts I hurt,
     I strike.
But they come back to me again and again
With the song of love.
The further I throw them out of my
boundary, the closer they come to me.
O Lord Supreme,
May their victory alone be proclaimed
     in my heart.

– Sri Chinmoy, ‘Garden of Love-Light, part 1’ songbook

3. Aghat Kare Jai Je Chale

Aghat kare jai je chale
Bishwa basi
Habo ebar mahi tale
Man udashi

Translation:

The world citizens strike me hard
And go away.
This time, I shall be
Self-oblivion-indifference-mind
To the whole world.

– Sri Chinmoy, ‘Journey’s Goal, Part 4’ songbook

4. Aghate Aghate Jibana Prabhate More

Aghate aghate jibana prabhate
More pabitra karo
Shaman ashani ami nahi mani
Tumi jadi more dharo

Translation:

Strike me again and again,
Right from the morning of my life
And make my entire life purity’s flood.
Neither do I respect nor do I fear
The thunder of doubt
When You, out of Your infinite Bounty,
Clasp me, my love and service-life.

– Sri Chinmoy, ‘Supreme, Make My Life a Gratitude-Flood’ songbook
