Here, in this heart-nest of mine,

Come, come, come.

O my mad Mother, come, come!
Your mad son is crying for You.

Of attachment and illusion-forest.

News #105: Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich | Mountain Silence

Mountain Silence ensemble performing at Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich

Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich – Highlights

Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich took place on Sunday, 21 December at Kulturhaus Helferei in Zürich. Nearly 80 people gathered for an intimate evening of meditative music and quiet reflection. Throughout the evening, the atmosphere remained calm and attentive. The audience listened closely, allowing the music to unfold naturally. As a result, the concert created a shared sense of stillness and presence.

At the heart of the program was the Mountain Silence ensemble. The group performed compositions by Sri Chinmoy, whose spiritual music is known for its melodic simplicity and contemplative depth. The music invited listeners inward. The ensemble combined flute, viola, violin, metallophone, guitar, and Indian harmonium. Step by step, the music encouraged reflection, inner quiet, and peace.

About Mountain Silence

Mountain Silence is an ensemble rooted in the spiritual music tradition of Sri Chinmoy. He was an influential teacher and composer whose works often unite mantra, melody, and meditation. For many years, the group has shared this music with audiences across Europe.

The ensemble brings together musicians from Switzerland and other countries. Their instrumentation includes voice, strings, harmonium, and melodic percussion. Because of this combination, their concerts feel both meditative and deeply resonant.

Why the Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich Matters

A Meditative Christmas Concert Zürich is more than a seasonal cultural event. It creates a space where music becomes a bridge between inner practice and shared experience. Especially during the busy holiday period, such an evening offers a rare moment of pause, listeners can reconnect with stillness. Many listeners left the concert with a renewed sense of calm.
