On a cool, breezy July morning at Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, the event brought together:

  • 127 runners in the 5K
  • 109 individual runners in the half‑marathon
  • 8 relay teams

All participants ran on a USATF‑certified, flat course looping past the Unisphere, Queens Zoo, and Queens Museum

News #40: Sri Chinmoy Dolls Point Half-Marathon, 10km & 5km – Sydney, July 6, 2025

Sydney’s annual Sri  Chinmoy Dolls Point event – held since 2007 – truly outdid itself this year. Athletes gathered at Peter  Depena Reserve for the Half-Marathon, 10 km, and 5 km, with several course records falling and performances that turned an ordinary Sunday into something extraordinary.

Anna Heath shattered the Half-Marathon F50‑59 record with an outstanding time of 1:27:38, while Jackie Murdy claimed the F60‑69 record at 1:32:44, finishing as the 5th woman overall. Teenage standout Eamon Corry made waves in the 5 km, setting a Boys Under 17 record with 16:58.

Men’s Half-Marathon winner Mitch McInnes ran a sharp 1:16:56, followed by Rede Carney (1:18:25) and Ian Gabriel (1:21:30). In the women’s under‑50 field, Madeleine Hoff led with 1:28:13.

The 10 km saw Fran Bell top the men in 37:13, and Jenny Dowd lead the women in 43:10. Young runners shone too: Eamon’s record run, Emma Felsman’s outright win in 21:37 (Girls U13), and Marcus Feldman’s Male 17+ win in 22:15.

With nearly two-thirds of participants tackling the Half-Marathon, the flat two-lap course crossing Captain Cook Bridge under sunny skies delivered memorable moments for all.

A weekend of endurance, heart, and quiet determination unfolded at Rockland Lake State Park, as runners from across the region gathered for the Sri Chinmoy 12‑Hour, 24‑Hour, and Midnight Marathon.

Set on a peaceful 2.95-mile loop near New York City, this year’s race saw its largest turnout yet. Rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of the participants or the devotion of the volunteers who kept the course flowing smoothly through the night and into the next day.

On Sunday, 8 June, the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Melbourne, Australia, hosted a joyful and inspiring day of races at Albert Park Lake, featuring a Half-Marathon, 10K, and 5K.

Despite forecasts of rain, hail, and strong winds, the event saw a wonderful turnout: 957 registered runners, with over 700 participants showing up on the day. The weather added a unique challenge, yet the spirit of both runners and volunteers remained high throughout.

The day began with the Half-Marathon, followed by the 10K and 5K events. The vibrant energy of the runners and the dedication of the volunteers created a deeply uplifting atmosphere.

The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Melbourne expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to share Sri Chinmoy’s message of self-transcendence with such a large and enthusiastic community.

It was not just a race day—it was a celebration of inner joy, aspiration, and the power of perseverance.

News #32: 2nd Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Races – Skopje, Macedonia | May 31 – June 1, 2025

From sunrise to sunset, runners from across the region came together in Skopje’s beautiful City Park for the 2nd edition of the Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Races. Held on a peaceful 1.739 km AIMS-certified loop near Luna Park, the event was a joyful celebration of self-transcendence, endurance, and inner strength.

With 35 participants across the three events—24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour—the atmosphere was vibrant, friendly, and deeply soulful. Custom t-shirts, finisher medals, digital photos, and a supportive crew of volunteers created a nurturing and uplifting experience for everyone.

🏁 Race Overview

  • 24-Hour Race: Commenced at 8:00 AM on May 31 and concluded at 8:00 AM on June 1.
  • 12-Hour Race: Started at 8:00 PM on May 31 and ended at 8:00 AM on June 1.
  • 6-Hour Race: Began at 8:00 AM and finished at 2:00 PM on May 31.

The races attracted a diverse group of participants, each embodying the spirit of self-transcendence and camaraderie. Each finisher received a special medal and diploma, while top performers were honored with beautiful trophies.
